Session One: Understanding the Change
Menopause isn’t something to “get through” — it’s a transition that deserves clarity, support, and community. In this first session of our Menopause Reset Series, Menopause Specialist Allie Theis (https://menopausewellness.co/about-me/) will guide us through the three stages of menopause: perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. You’ll gain insight into the hormonal shifts happening in your body and how they influence sleep, mood, metabolism, joint health and energy. There will be time for open Q&A so you can ask the questions you’ve been carrying — in a space where nothing is “too much.”
After the educational portion, Wendy will lead gentle stretching and assisted stretching designed specifically for the areas most affected during menopause — hips, shoulders, spine and pelvic floor. This intentional movement helps improve mobility, ease stiffness, support joint health, and restore confidence in a body that may feel unfamiliar at times.
We’ll close with restorative yoga and a soothing sound bath led by Wendy to calm the nervous system and reduce stress — an essential piece of hormone balance.
This workshop is the first in our Menopause Reset Series, an ongoing offering designed to support you through every stage of this transition. Future sessions will explore topics like strength training for bone health, sleep and stress support, pelvic floor and core connection, and mobility for joint care. Each gathering will combine education with guided movement, stretching, and deep rest — giving you both the knowledge and the physical tools to feel strong, steady, and supported in midlife and beyond.
